For the past 5 weeks I’ve been doing a lot of financial planning (Ugh BORING) but honestly it has changed my perspective on money drastically. Apparently there’s such a thing as good debt, bad debt, and different types of Mortgages! I had no idea haha
Anyway this blog post isn’t about financial planning because let’s be honest, that’d probably bore you guys out as it would me. And I’m not even qualified to talk about it anyway. However financial planning is a tad bit related to this blog post so it’s not completely random but the topic of this blog will be “seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!”
Over the past couple of weeks I’ve been feeling quite lost.
Maybe some of you can relate but I felt like I had no direction of what I wanted to do with my immediate future. Eventually though I got tired of feeling like that and so I decided to try a ton of different things at the same time! I was grasping for straws (if you wanna use that phrase) but in a positive way. Positive because I was learning new things like longboard dancing (super fun and challenging), photography, I was meeting new people and as funny as this sounds, I tried listening to different music as well! In addition to all those things, I also spoke to my financial advisor about the future. Like I mentioned above we talked about debt, mortgages and setting up separate accounts for my finances.
All in all the meeting went great and honestly, for the first time in a long time, I feel good about where I am and where I’m going. I’m happier now when I’m at work and I have more energy when I wake up. I have different goals now and plans on how to achieve them. I guess what I’m trying to say is that when you have a set plan or a really good idea of the direction you’re heading in, you tend to feel a little lighter. It’s almost as if you can see the light at the end of the tunnel and the light will lead you to better and amazing things.
Anyway this was just something that I wanted to put out since I really haven’t shared much of my life for the past little bit. Thanks so much for reading and I hope to see you here again soon!
